Firmware Update LG KP500 Cookie on XP / Vista / Seven

Before proceeding, download the files you need:

1 - B2CAppSetup http://www.mediafire.com/file/nqwttutmnit/B2CAppSetup.exe

2 - LG PC Suite LG PC Suite II or III (from the CD that came with your mobile)

3 - LG Util Files, Usb Flash driver and loader http://www.mediafire.com/file/nkknyb1yyyq/Lg%% 20Kp500 20Utility.rar

BEGIN! ;)

1) Extract the downloaded files into C (as illustrated)




2) now installs all as an administrator (right click and then "Run as Administrator") and installed:

- LG PC Suite II (or LG PC Suite III)
- B2CAppSetup
-Go " C: \\ usb_driver and flash driver" and install LGUSBModem setup and then install the USB Flash content


3) After you install all go in the cell phone / keyguard and select NO

4) Go into Settings / Connectivity / USB Connection and select Always ask

5) Turn off the cell, remove the SIM, microSD and battery. While the phone is off, connect to the PC via the USB cable

6) Your computer will recognize Flash Device


7) After disconnecting the phone from the PC and turn on your cell

8) Perform LG PC Suite, connect the cell while ON . The computer establishes the connection between the cell and LG PC Suite.

9) MAKE A BACKUP OF ALL YOUR DATA ON THE CELL! DATA ON THE CELL SURVIVE, BUT TO AVOID SECURITY;)

10) Do LG Mobile Update. Go to Help & Options, then Country & Language and selected entrabi Italian

11) Keep running both programs ( LG PC Suite and LG Mobile Update ) and make sure that LG PC Suite the phone is connected!


12) Now go in C: \\ LG-Utils and run the file KP500-Utils-EN.exe

13) Type the following commands in the program:

- The press and then press ENTER
- write KP500 and then press ENTER
- write C: \\ and then press ENTER V10Z_00.kdz
- write V10Z_00 and then press ENTER



14) Now start the update program . Wait about 10 minutes and then you install your new firmware;)



KNOWN ISSUES:

ERROR: can sometimes appear OnStepMsg STEP_TYPE_ENV_ERROR delete m_pLGCyonUpdate

SOLUTION: uninstall all the programs, delete files, restart the computer, reinstall the files, restart the computer and try;)
